So, Valentine’s weekend was spent in NYC with my friend. He had never been to NYC and I wanted him to attend the Maxwell and Nas Concert at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn with me. We had a great time. It was cold as heck and I have to say that the Big Apple almost gave me frost bite.
Between shopping, sightseeing, eating out and the concert we packed a lot in the little amount of time spent there. We both agreed to cut sightseeing short on Sunday and come back in the spring when it’s warmer. That -1 degree weather was no joke.

Yes. I almost died. We woke up Sunday to -1 weather. That didn’t include the wind.

OMG it was definitely cold that weekend! I went out to a bar that Saturday night for a friend’s birthday celebration. There are only a handful of people that can get me out of the house when it is under 10 degrees!

I saw maxwell in NY back when Alisha Keys was opening for him! Amazing show. My friend Lisa once made me chase Max’s tour bus after a show. Lol she is obsessed. Looks fun and you look gorgeous! But yes, that weekend was cold!!
