It’s Already October

Today is the first day of October and I can’t believe it. The year has flown by. But, I welcome October like the wonderful month it is. Why? Because it’s time for sweaters and boots and thick cozy socks. It’s time for pumpkin patches, haunted houses and hay rides. It’s time for hot apple ciders and fire pits.

Here are my 5 Goals for October:

  1. Take Munch to a pumpkin patch
  2. Do our fall photo shoot
  3. Attend a friend’s wedding
  4. Spend some family time with Mr. C and our kids
  5. Take Munch trick or treating

I can’t wait. This is the 10th month of the year and 2016 is almost over. I hope you make this an amazing October and enjoy the cooler month.

  1. Sounds like a plan! I’m glad someone is excited about the new season, new month. Unfortunately, I feel so unprepared for the new season. I’m in like denial about it. I have to shop for some fall clothes and shoes so maybe after that, I’ll feel more prepare cause now I’m like Kevin Hart “I wasn’t readdddy…” lol

  2. When I was a little girl, I always remember October as the month when you walked outside and the smell of the air was different. It smelled cleaner, somehow. There was that little nip that chilled your nose.
Hell….until I read this, I didn’t even know it was October. (I’m clueless anymore.) LOL

  3. October is my favorite month of the year, but I somehow failed to note its onset last night. I turned on the computer, saw the date, and cheered.

Part of it has to do with Halloween. Another part’s my birthday. Most importantly, though, I loved how I really felt the seasons changing in October. It always felt so hopeful to me. Still does, even though many fewer leaves fall here than back in my childhood home. 🙂

    Happy October!
