I finally caught up with the 2,000 blog posts that were in my email. Some of you new followers may not understand, but I usually send your posts to my email because I am not always good with checking on my reader. I’m getting better. Well, I took a hiatus from reading posts the last week and had to catch up.
It’s been good. Thank you for sharing your world, your photos and your wisdom. I always feel like I’ve learned things. I may be slow to reading your posts, but bear with me. This was the first week of summer camp and my new summer schedule.
Munch has been with me this week and it has been absolutely wonderful. He loves his new camp. I was worried and surprised, but when my mom picked him up the first day he said it was awesome. He doesn’t use that word often. In fact I can probably count on one hand how many times he’s said that in the last year. He uses that word sparingly.
My days are long and my nights are short and I feel like I am in a perpetual state of existing. Thankfully, my schedule returns to normal beginning tomorrow until the 12th of July. But, I don’t complain. Motherhood means that you have to make sacrifices and do the things that matter even when you don’t feel like it.
I am loving on my Munch and making plans for beach days, fairs and time spent with family. Oh and before I leave I want to share this picture of this bracelet he made me at camp. He rushed to give it to me when I came home Tuesday night. He asked “Will you wear it Mommy?” It’s tight as hell on my arm. LOL, but I will always wear what he makes.
You know why? Because my word for 2017 is gratitude. I’m grateful for it all. The good, the bad and everything in between.

I always loved the homemade gifts they’d bring me. Everyone of them is in a sea chest at the end of our bed. I keep it all. 😃

Really? Everyone? Dang. Okay, I’ll put it in my jewelry box. I would hate to lose it.

Yep. We’ve kept ‘me all. Someday we’ll get it all out and have a laugh…and cry. 😃

I had the same. I then had 300 more when I woke up. I also send them to my email and I have over 1000 followers and it is hard to keep up but every voice matters and I try to at least once a week catch up as much as I can. Usually I will read 20 a day.
Did you say your word for 2016 was gratitude? Did it carry over to 2017? Am I in the wrong year? You got me asking my daughter what year it is!

Yep, I said 2016. Typo. I’ve corrected. Thank you for telling me.

It has long been a running joke in my family that after the new year I get all checks returned for bills written repeatedly because the new year just doesn’t stick. The time change is just brutal for me. So I promise I was not correcting you. You just me second guessing if I was in the wrong year. Which is not unusual!!!!
Myhusband has implemented a calendar on the refrigerator and I cross the days off. My poor brain!

Loving on Munch…I adore that!💕 And I still don’t know how you keep up with 2k posts. I try what I can in the Reader but often miss the same ones due to time differences. You’re making me think I need to revert back to email…🤔

I am impressed you caught up! When I get that far behind, I just cut my losses and start over again! What a great bracelet. Nothing feels better than being thought about by our kids. 🙂

LOL. So many people do. I understand. I just try to keep up with everything. I know right? It was cute and tight, but he had the biggest smile on his face when he gave it to me so I couldn’t resist.

Thank you so much Lynne. He’s my heart and I’m just thankful that I get to love on him. He’s not going to want that much longer and I’ll miss these days.

LOL. I hope so. He had the biggest grin on his face and even though it was a little tight, it was perfect.
