My best friend and our boys attended the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation and Catholic Charities event at Fed-Ex field last Saturday. It was an incredible event designed to get children ready for back to school with a book bag drive, school supplies, free dental exams, check-ups and haircuts. The boys loved it. It was two hours of fun. There were games, giveaways and a DJ. They also gave the children two free tickets to a Redskins pre-season game as part of their back-to-school night.
Overwhelmingly blessed is how we felt to be among the 400 selected to attend this event. Best event ever. Here are some photos:
