Under a Tall Tree

There are many days that I wish for peaceful times.

No pandemic.

No social/racial injustices.

No election results.

No threats of violence.

Simpler times.

Times that allowed you to remember who you are and what matters most to you. Times where you can sit and reflect on the beauty and majesty of the world around you. A time where you can meditate and free your spirit from the drama of this world.

A tall tree. Where you can be you and I can be me. I’ll put my feet in the grass. I’ll lean against the base. I’ll pray and be in the moment. I’ll be thankful for all that this world has and all God has provided.

Sitting under a tall tree. That’s where you’ll find me. Praying for you and I hope that you’ll pray for me.
