I’m in a much better place now. My soul is at peace. It’s been a long time coming. I just breathe now. Not a labored breath where I was fighting to keep my sanity. Just a slow deep and and freeing breath.
What is a better place? A place where your soul is not on fire. A place that brings you peace. A place that loves you and allows you to grow without being strangled.
I honestly never thought I would see this place. I mean I prayed and I fasted and I prayed some more. I cried. I screamed and I bargained with God to keep His promises and to get me to a better place.
He has.
He has gotten me to a better place.
What can I tell you? Our God is able.
To do exceedingly and abundantly.
So, when your soul is on fire and you feel as though you are walking through hell, know that your situation is not going to last forever. There will be peace. There will be joy. There will be no more tears.
You will see and know the goodness of the Lord.
He will move you to a better place.
