I’ve had a BFF breakup too and they are hard. Like the author here, I knew it was coming a few years before it did. A few times I thought it was finally over but like clockwork, every 6 months I’d get a message from her. But it’s over now, and while I grieve for the friendship that we once had (or maybe lied to ourselves about having), I’m happier without her.
